Grassroots Petition Seeks to Repeal Arizona’s Right to Work Statute; Weighs Wages Against Inflation

PHOENIX - Arizona Works Together (AWT), a local-democrat-backed organization, has filed an initiative petition with the state of Arizona to repeal Arizona’s long-standing “right-to-work” statute.
The initiative, if approved by voters, would be known as the ‘Arizona Works Together Act’ and seeks to achieve better wages for workers by “repealing (the state’s) unfair, anti-union laws” by “(promoting) economic security, freedom of association, freedom of speech”, and the freedom to pursue collective action, according to AWT.
